Work Interests Schedule – Familiarisation Training

WHO? The session will be led by Professor John Hunt of London Business School and Duncan Leahy – Director of Arkadia-HR.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT? The programme focuses specifically on the Work Interests Schedule (WIS). Developed by Professor Hunt, this is a guide to personal goals and motivators which has been completed by over 40,000 managers worldwide.

The session will cover ‘typical’ manager profiles, effects of age and gender and differences by function and nationality.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? Participants will be asked to complete the Work Interests Schedule (WIS) on-line and bring their report to the session. (N.B. alloutput from the WIS is confidential).

WHAT WILL I LEARN? By the end of the session all participants will have a fuller picture of their personal motivation and have a tool that will enable them to tap into the motivational goals of others. On completion, new users will be registered to purchase all materials and utilise the on-line service.

WHO WILL ATTEND? The session has been designed specifically for HR practitioners who are involved in making best use of their people by unlocking their potential. Previous attendees from companies including – HBOS, Pilkington, Alfred McAlpine, Alliance & Leicester, Woolworths, Degussa, BAA, various NHS organisations.

WHAT WILL IT COST? The fee is £595 + VAT. This is inclusive of all materials, completion of WIS on-line and lunch.

WHEN? Two dates with spaces left this year – 27th September (NW) and 16th November ( London). 2007 dates to be announced shortly.
